Cameron "CJ" Wagner, DMD - Vernon Hills Pediatric Dentist, Gurnee Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Cameron "CJ" Wagner grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has been a Wisconsin sports fan ever since. Since moving to Illinois, he has learned to like the Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox, but is still having trouble finding room in his heart for the Cubs and Bears over his Brewers and Packers.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001, CJ spent a year touring the USA as a drummer with his college rock band. Though a truly memorable adventure, the record labels never called, so he abandoned rock star dreams and attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Magna Cum Laude in 2006.

While at Temple, Dr. Wagner helped to organize the school’s annual mission trip to Haiti. There, he and fellow students provided much needed dental care to children and adults.

Dr. Wagner continued his studies in Pediatric Dentistry at Northwestern University and The Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He has been honored with numerous awards for achievement in pediatric dentistry. He prides himself on providing the highest quality dental care with his trademark sense of humor and easy-going style that helps children feel at ease during their visits. Dr. Wagner loves working with children because "they possess an endless amount of creativity and imagination. This makes everyday new and exciting!" Dr. Wagner says, "caring for children has always been an important part of my life. I find nothing more rewarding than gaining the trust and appreciation from a young patient"

Dr. Wagner recently completed his Certification examinations and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Wagner lives in Skokie with his wife Danielle, new baby Lola and their two Cocker Spaniels, Murphy and Tucker.
