Digital Imaging at Affiliated Dental Specialists

Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the newest technology used in dentistry to take dental x-rays. This technique takes a digital picture of teeth with their supporting bone structures and stores the images on a computer. You and the doctors will be able to instantly view your x-rays and enlarge the image to aid in the identification of dental problems, the positioning of the patient's teeth and bone health. This information helps create an individualized treatment plan for their patient's orthodontic care. Digital x-rays significantly reduces the amount of radiation as compared to traditional dental x-rays.

Digital Photographs are used to track the miraculous transformation in the appearance of our patients during the course of treatment. Electronic Record Keeping
Digital X-rays and digital photographs are all stored within the patient's secure computerized dental chart. Your records can be instantaneously accessed at each appointment from either office. This allows Dr. Port and Dr. Klein to easily confer on treatment and share the information with your dentist.
