The staff at Affiliated Dental Specialists take digital x-rays, digital photos and impressions for diagnosis and treatment planning to see if Invisalign is right for you.
Once the decision is made to use Invisalign, super accurate molds of your teeth are taken and the molds and digital records are sent with a prescription by our doctors instructing Invisalign how to straighten the teeth.
Invisalign e mails to the doctors the ClinCheck, an advanced 3-D computer-image rendering of the patient's teeth and supporting structures. This software allows Dr. Port and Dr. Klein to direct the tooth movement that will give you the best result. After doctor approval the aligners are made from the computer images.
Invisalign returns a series of dental aligners that the patient changes on a regular schedule which is usually every two weeks. Patients wear these simple Invisalign trays unless they are eating or brushing. No one would ever know they are having orthodontic treatment.
